Separatist Leader Shabir Shah detained in New Delhi

India has toughened its stand further on the issue of talks between Hurriyat leaders and Pakistan NSA Sartaj Aziz, by detaining separatist leader Shabir Shah at the IGI Airport, New Delhi upon his arrival from Srinagar.

Other Hurriyat leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq may try to come to Delhi, while Yasin Malik has decided not to come. Pakistan is adamant on the meeting between Aziz and Hurriyat leaders.
