4 killed, 3 injured as car hits roadside tree in Keonjhar Dist

ONI Bureau:  As many as four persons were killed while three others sustained grievous injuries near Anandpur in Keonjhar district in the wee hours on Saturday.

The mishap occurred when around seven persons of Salabani and Sainkula villages were returning to Anandapur after attending a wedding party from Thakurmunda. The car in which they were travelling collided against a roadside tree as the driver of the ill-fated vehicle lost control over the wheels.

The deceased have been identified as Chinna Panda, Manorama Tripathy, Baikuntha Panda and Laxmipriya Panda.

The injured were admitted to Anandapur hospital and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for further treatment after their health condition deteriorated.
