Annual Khandagiri mela to be kicked off from January 24

ONI Bureau:  The annual Khandagiri Mela to be kicked off at the foothills of Khandagiri and Udaygiri hills in Bhubaneswar from January 24.

The mela takes off every year on the occasion of Magha Saptami, on the lunar month of Magha.

The festival will showcase different classical and folk dances of India. Large number of venders gather at Khandagiri mela to sell their products. This cultural fair will also display various types of local hand made products for sale.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will made necessary arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents in the 10 days long fair.
