Bargarh Incident Condemnable in Odisha’s History: Arun Singh

The attack on two Union Ministers Shri Santosh Gangwar and Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti at Bargarh was disgraceful, said BJP national general secretary Arun Singh.

The incident was condemnable in the history of Odisha as the police failed to arrange security for the Union Ministers and to collect information properly for which the two ministers were subjected to a murderous attack, Singh said.

Arun Singh further stated that, for the first time, the ministers were warned not to come to Odisha and then the BJD workers tore the posters of the BJP party. Black flags were shown to the ministers after reaching at Bargarh.

The BJP Activists hold a protest near Raj Bhavan and submitted a memorandum to the Governor against BJD government’s failure to provide security to the Union Ministers at Bargarh.

The party had staged a state-wide demonstration on June 29 in Bargarh accusing the state government who failed to take action against the culprits.
