Er. Bikash Mohanty’s Family refuses to receive his Body

The Jajpur district administration today brought the dead body of Bikash Mohanty back to his village Sahupada of Bari block in Jajpur district a month after his mysterious death in Sri Lanka.

Bikash Mohanty, an Engineer, was working at a company in Colombo and died on April 24 under mysterious circumstances.

The Air India authorities and Jajpur district administration are in a dillema after family members of Bikash Mohanty refused to accept his body due to several reasons.

They wanted to know how his body arrived at the Airport without a passport and why the post mortem report is missing. They also wondered why no agreement paper was signed with the company at the time of his joining.
