Centre to promote Nabakalebara 2015 as a Global Event

The Union Government has decided to promote the Nabakalebara Festival 2015 in Puri as a global event. The decision was taken following a meeting between Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma.

The centre will provide adequate funds to ensure the grand success of Nabakalebara festival. “Tourism Ministry has already sanctioned Rs 50 crore and Centre will also supplement budgetary support as per the requirements of the event”, said Dharmendra Pradhan.
