Dengue fever is increasing in Odisha. As many as 225 people have tested positive for dengue across the state, out of them 13 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
Special arrangements are being done for free test and treatment of the patients, revealed by the Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak.
Special wards have been opened at Barbil Community Health Centre (CHC) for the treatment of affected persons. The spread of dengue fever has created a panic among the residents of the Barbil area.
Health experts from various places like Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur have reached the affected areas and are treating the patients admitted in the special wards.
