Odia Cine Stars Mihir Das & Anu Choudhury to join BJP

ONI Bureau: Veteran Odia Actor Mihir Das and Ollywood heartthrob Anu Choudhury will start a new innings soon. They are all set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The ‘Misran Parv’ will take place at the BJP Headquarters in Bhubaneswar tomorrow. Along with the Actors, former Satyabadi MLA Rama Ranjan Baliarsingh, who had resigned from the BJD earlier, will also join the saffron party.

BJP Spokesperson Pitambar Acharya confirmed the news. Mihir Das too confirmed it, saying he has been inspired by PM Modi’s leadership. “There has been no development in Art in Odisha for the last 20 years. I am confident that BJP would leave no stones unturned to improve the situation when it comes to power,” he said.
