Odia Expatriates in Saudi Arabia celebrate Utkal Divas

The Association of Odia Expatriates staying in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, has celebrated Utkal Divas on 1st Apr’16 at the City of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. A series of cultural programmes were held by the kids, which included Odissi dance, Sambalpuri Dance, Odia songs etc.

The function was organised by the Association of Odia Expatriates, ‘Utkalika’, which is giving a strong platform to all those Odias living far from homeland to celebrate their culture and festivities at a foreign country.

The program was conducted smoothly under coordinators Mr. Seikh Sharafat, Mr. Santosh Das, Mr. Imtiaz Ali, Mr. Kulamani Biswal and Mr. Manas Das. Over 150 members and their family members attended the program from Dammam, Jubail and other places of Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

It was also decided to organise the annual function of Utkalika in a grand way on May 13th.
