Odisha BJP to observe Flag Day on April 6

In a bid to bring unity among the people and raise the awareness on ‘patriotism’ and ‘nationalism’, the Odisha BJP has decided to observe ‘Pataka Divas’ or ‘Flag Day’ on April 6, 2016.

In addition, the party would launch a statewide Jana Kalyan Yatra from April 7. Another campaign – Gram Swaraj Abhiyan will be launced on April 14, which will be culminated on April 24.

The BJP has launched an aggressive campaign to make people aware about the centrally-sponsored schemes and their benefits so that the ruling BJD does not hijack those as its own.
