Odisha CM inaugurates ‘Saint Mother Teresa Road’ in Bhubaneswar
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday dedicated the fly-over road linking Satya Nagar and Cuttack-Puri road in memory of Mother Teresa. The road was named as Saint Mother Teresa Road.
Pope Francis officially declared Mother Teresa as saint on Sunday in Vatican, Rome.
Notably, on the request of Odisha Catholic Bishops’ Council (OCBC) chairman Archbishop John Barwa SVD, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has resolved to name the road as Saint Mother Teresa Road.
In Odisha, Missionaries of Charity created by Mother Teresa, has 18 houses.
Saint Mother Teresa is one of the legendaries for the philanthropic services who has given a new meaning to the dignity of humanity.
