Odisha: YB Khurania replaces RP Sharma as Twin-city Police Commissioner

Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: The state government transferred three senior police officers including twin-city police commissioner RP Sharma on Thursday. Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, a 1990-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the new commissioner of twin-city police replacing Dr.RP Sharma.

Sharma, a 1986-batch IPS officer, has been posted promoted as Special Director General of State Vigilance. He was appointed as police commissioner in August 2013. The state government promoted BK Sharma, Additional Director General – Crime Brach as Director General of Crime Branch.
