Two Persons Including A Women Arrested For Carrying 1.2 Quintal Of Ganja

On Thursday, two persons including a woman were arrested for carrying 1.2 quintal of ganja in a car near Manguli Chhak in Cuttack.
Following a tip-off, the traffic was blocked for checking motor vehicles, it was then that the police captured both and seized a bag stuffed with 1.2 quintals of cannabis during the search. Police informed that the duo was smuggling the contraband to West Bengal.
The smuggled items estimate to be around Rs 15 lakhs.

A case has been registered against the accused and investigation has been probed while the accused are cooling their heels in police custody.
