BJD MP Sasmit Patra Raises Demand For Passage Of Women’s Reservation Bill

BJD Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sasmit Patra raised the demand for the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday morning.

During the Zero Hour, the BJD MP reiterated his party’s demand for the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Parliament.

Speaking in Odia, Sasmit Patra stated that women’s empowerment is important in the context of economic, social and political empowerment.

He also highlighted that hsis party had reserved 33 percent seats for Women in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
