West Indies beat Sri Lanka in T20 World Cup

West Indies scored their second consecutive victory in ICC T20 World Cup, as they defeated Sri Lanka by 7 wickets even without Chris Gayle, who scored a hundred in the first game.

Sri Lanka scored 122/9 in 20 overs. Thisara Perera was the top scorer with 40. Angelo Mathews scored 20. For West Indies, Samuel Badree took three wickets, while Dwayne Bravo took two wickets.

West Indies reached 127/3 in 18.2 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. Andre Fletcher remained unbeaten on 84. Andre Russell scored 20*. Milinda Siriwardana claimed two wickets. Fletcher was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
